“OMNIA” (Lat. “everything”)

The thought of painting “everything” is as wonderful as it is impossible since “everything” includes infinity. So is it about physics, about philosophy? Yes! At least since humanity has to grapple with quantum physics, it is clear, that “everything” does exist. Only we do not understand it at all. Like art…

“Hold on” I hear. Of course there is art theory, telling us how something is done, composed, structured and so on. However, I see this as a premise and not as the aim of art itself. Initially I was trained as a theater director. As a painter I am an autodidact. That’s where the variety comes from, the fluidity of my style: expressive, graphic, photorealistic. Rough Drawings or drawings with reduced lines.

So “everything”. Although impossible. But the impossible has always brought humanity further. Tomorrow I’ll continue to paint, draw “everything”…
